International Credit Union (ICU) Day^® is Thursday, October 17, 2024

But we're going to be celebrating ALL WEEK LONG!

Be sure to stop by and celebrate with YOUR credit union throughout the week for giveaways and treats!

• Monday, October 14 - CU Kind Day: We are celebrating by performing random acts of kindness around town and at each office location—stop in that day and you could be next!
• Tuesday, October 15 - CU Lunch Local: We have invited That Guy's BBQ to our Euclid parking lot from 11am -  2pm and will provide lunch for all employees (as well as encouraging members to partake in a delicious lunch as well!).
• Thursday, October 17 - ICU Day: Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck will be here with tasty FREE drinks for all members from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. They will have flavored lemonades, hot or iced coffees and teas, hot chocolate, and more! Be sure to stop by and grab a drink on us that morning!
• Saturday, October 19 - Fall Recycling Day: FinancialEdge has sponsored the Shred truck at the City of Bay City Fall Recycling Day. Stop by with your documents to be shredded or other recyclable items - we hope to see you there!

The day honors the contributions credit unions have made to society and gives credit union members a chance to reflect on the credit union movement, its history and achievements, and how membership in a credit union makes each member part of something special.

Since 1948, credit unions have empowered their members and helped them build wealth through outstanding service, favorable interest rates on loans, lower account maintenance fees, and higher dividends on savings.

This year, the theme of ICU Day is One World Through Cooperative Finance. On October 17, FinancialEdge CU will join more than 82,000 credit unions and 403 million members from 98 countries to celebrate the 76^th anniversary of International Credit Union Day^®.
